Quality control of veterinary biologicals plays a pivotal role in the increased livestock health, production efficiency and better economy. This can be achived through preventive measures such as immunization and project hundreds of millions of animals from many contagious and deadly diseases. For this there is a need of harmonization of standards of veterinary biologicals in India. This will brings the vaccines manufactures of the country and quality control testing institutions a common platform and will lead to availability of veterinary biologicals of global standards. This will further control and reduce the livestock diseases and the country will be able to produce safe and sound food security, a big question in expert of food and food products of animal origin.
